Home of Victory Boys Camp

I’m ninety-seven years old and, like everyone else, a little afraid of death because no matter how old you are you’re always making plans and you don’t want to be interrupted. I feel as if I’ve already lived two hundred years, but I wouldn’t mind two hundred more just so I can keep doing what I’ve been doing: helping the underdog.
That’s been my program. That’s been my whole life.
— Louis Zamperini, 2014

Our Mission

Since 1952, Victory Boys Camp has provided the promise of a better life to disadvantaged youth. Through rigorous outdoor programs they gain self-respect, discipline and the personal empowerment that comes through the victory of accomplishment.

Today, the Louis Zamperini Foundation is continuing his life-changing work.
With your help, the torch he carried for these boys will continue to burn brightly, bringing light and hope to them, and to every heart and soul in our communities.

What makes our work with youth so unique is the uncanny ability that Louis' story has to connect with kids, teaching them the healing power of forgiveness, and helping them to believe that anything is possible when given the right perspective.
