Where your support changes lives forever.

Our Mission

The Louis Zamperini Foundation exists to tell the life-changing story of our founders remarkable path to redemption.
By working alongside mentoring programs which reflect Louis' life of faith and hope in Christ, we provide at-risk, imprisoned and broken youth with the tools of commitment and perseverance, giving them the skills and guidance needed to change their lives forever!

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT

We are humbled to see how our program has continued to transform lives. Please continue to support our life-changing work by making a donation.
Your help is necessary to consolidate the continued success of future generations of young people.

FOSTERING COURAGE, HOPE, PURPOSE AND DIRECTION FOR OVER 60 YEARS

Since 1952, kids in need of guidance were Louis' passion. He established the first of-its-kind wilderness program for at-risk youth, 'Victory Boys Camps'. The camp challenged kids to achieve success in basic outdoor skills such as fishing, boating, skiing, hiking and climbing as a means to develop character and instill a sense of accomplishment for themselves and respect for others.  The majesty of the great outdoors created the ideal setting to touch hearts and minds. Today, we provide these opportunities through camp experiences, mentoring programs, curricula development, and the donation of Bibles, and Louis' books, Unbroken and Don't Give Up, Don't Give In.
By sharing the lessons learned from his extraordinary life, Louis shined a light on the Truth: that forgiveness, perseverance, and Faith in Jesus Christ can carry anyone through the worst storms in life, awakening them to God's promise of a perfect plan for their lives.

For I know the plans I have for you. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
— Jeremiah 29:11-13
